LOVELY FORWARD FOCUS!! Just gorgeous! GREAT STAYS!!!!! On the lateral sends, first one great! Second one at 0:29, you just barely used your arm. Hold it out then release her. Don't fling it (so quick motion towards the jump then at your side). It will help her commit to the jump faster and also keep your body showing her that you are supporting her. Great placement of reward! As she gets faster and faster you will start moving that reward a bit more towards were you are running to, that will get her turning out of the turn faster as well....so think of starting the rewarding where you are right now...and just gradually placing it so that she will take the jump, turn and THEN she gets the toy. Eventually, she will take the jump, turn and take a stride and get the toy. She likes her lotus ball!!! On the forward sends make sure you are sending with your arm and holding it towards the jump waste high until she fully commits. You are again doing the flinging. So really focus on that. When you fling it isn't quite as clear to the dog, you are saying TAKE IT! DON'T TAKE IT!! So then they will go a bit slower and not commit fast. Nice work!!!

Lily's Agility Journey - Week 3
I learned a lot in week 3 lesson. 1. Where I think the ball will go is rarely where it lands. 2. Really triple check the camera is on. 3. Write the lesson down and check in between exercises. 4. Need a bigger area and I'll have to suck it up and move my weaves or I will end up running into that tree. 5. WOW she can stay
I remembered on the last lateral send I was supposed to be on the landing side of the jump. At the end I run her over the jump as I decided I wanted video on both sides.
Should I do this higher? One of the last things we were supposed to add was height. This is 14" and she jumps 20". I am just moving her up to 16 for week 1 jumping.
