CK Bales is a wonderful woman! She has taken on my "missing videos" problem as her own.
CK is a computer programmer. Bless her. And this problem with imported Flips has her stumped, too. But she never runs out of problem solving ideas. It is no longer "my" problem. This has become "our" problem.
And what a problem it is. Flip videos that have been uploaded here, on these blogs initiated here, can be viewed easily and dependably. But I have some blogs that I have imported from the Freedom Dogs site (proprietary). And the videos that were initially uploaded there....the imported blogs....those videos always produce an error message and cannot be viewed.
CK and I are trying for a solution that doesn't involve removing and replacing the hundreds of videos that are affected.
What do "normal" people do when faced with this problem? Normal people who don't have a computer guru friend or relative? Flip Support says it is a Google problem. Google doesn't even have live support to assist. The Apple Geniuses say it is an application problem. Argh! and double Argh!
I want to be able to share my blog of Dale and Lily Beta testing the NL. I want to be able to share my blog of the hours and hours of mentoring with Cathy and Jan and Karen. So much valuable stuff in there. And Landry's puppy training. There has to be a way. There has to be a simple solution. It just has to be a matter of one setting. It just has to.
Does anyone know a Google geek?
I'd like to invite him/her over for Thanksgiving.

Problem resolved! And, as is often the case, the simplest solution provided the answer. The villain? Corrupted files.
Thanks, CK and Annieke, for sticking by me!
